Roberto Di Stano

I knew the Rocky Horror when I was 18 (at the cinema Mexico) when my passion for the movies was beginning; knowing directors and their ideas, the meaning of a movie and the importance it can have, technical parts (photography, art-direction), acting and the use of expression.
Now I'm 26 years old and I'm graduated as a graphical advertiser even if my job has nothing to do with it (I work in a social enterprise for the right to work for powerless people). I've always been interested in the show world. Since ever I like music and I've been studied singing; I changed a lot of groups and made different experiences, concerts and collaborations of different importance, and now I'm following the project of playing live, in concert, the RHPS soundtrack, not with the orchestra like in the musical.
In 1992 I was about to finish the military service when I knew the "Diabolical Plan", always at the cinema Mexico; at that time I was singing in a group that already knew the Rocky people; the guy who played bass was Eddie and Dr. Scott and the one who played guitar (who might be a great art-director and who has always been doing a lot of creative things for the show) used to perform Riff Raff or Rocky when it was needed, and he still does.
I suddendly started collaborating with them and my passion for RHPS began to grow every day more. I became a Transylvanian (almost all of us were Transylvanians) and this gave me a lot. I loved that place. When Mauro (Eddie/Dr. Scott) decided to move to New York for other interests, I inherited Eddie's part and from that day it's the most beautiful thing I've got.
My love for shows is still alive and I'm always ready for evry kind of things; I made other experiences besides Rocky and I hope to do something else, particularly with music, but Eddie is into my soul. I think that in Italy, where it's so difficult to understand the spirit of the show, where everybody thinks only of business and where is hard to insert yourself into creativity, having the RHPS is a great fortune and for me it's a little treasure.
